The imp soul over is a Nether soul created with vulcanite.
Abilities[]
The imp soul over is immune to fire damage, and the most easily achieved soul with that power. Although there are three such souls, the main gimmick of the imp is its ability to fit in tiny 1x1 areas. With the exception of the Guardian Soul Over which cannot breathe on land, no other soul is this small. The imp's speed was buffed and size was decreased somewhere down the line.
Acquisition[]
100 Vulcanite is needed to synthesize this soul over. Since the Nether is fairly easy to access and navigate, the imp is one of the easiest to achieve.
Trivia[]
- The imp was initially able to climb, but before release this feature was removed to make the Eetle Soul Over relevant
- The imp's size makes it an incredibly effective miner as well as good at squeezing through narrow slits in dungeons and escaping enemies. Additionally, its tiny hitbox makes it good at dodging projectiles as its surface area is small. Coupled with the fire resistance, it is very effective at facing off against the Sun Spirit in the Aether, although hitting the ice projectiles at the right angle is a little difficult for a short mob.
